Recent Demonstrated Success with Clean Energy Project Financing
Policy Ink has recently led a company’s efforts to obtain federal financing of a large scale innovative clean energy project through the U.S. Department of Energy. Led by Principal, Joe Kelly, Policy Ink has brought decades of policy and business development experience to the table to support the development of this initiative. Kelly and Policy Ink have demonstrated:
• Strategic understanding of the federal, state, local policy and regulatory framework and communicating the company’s story to match up persuasively with the funding opportunity requirements.
• Strength in conveying financial planning, business models, and marketing strategies, by translating details effectively in written narratives for public audiences, regulators and reviewers.
• Expertise in supporting and advising the company’s founders and financial team through the multi-level funding requirements in federal guidance documents and review team processes – including technical, engineering, climate tech, environmental, business plan, financing, and community benefits planning.
• Experience interfacing with federal project partners and leads, and developing candid, productive relationships between teams.
Policy Ink can bring these same skills to bear with other companies looking to leverage resources for climate technology and innovative energy projects.
